The International Graduate Lectures in Sinology of NCCU College of Liberal Arts will offer five intensive 1-credit courses in the second semester of Academic Year 114. The five courses are:

 

1. Sinology and Buddhist Studies in the West

2. International Relations and Exchange in Modern East Asia

3. Governance in Taiwan as Reflected in the Documents of the Governor-General’s Office

4. The Modern Transformation of Sensory Culture: New Structures of Feeling in Modern China

5. Explorations in Chinese Character Studies and Chinese Language Teaching from the Czech Perspective

 

Each course will be delivered in the form of intensive lectures by distinguished scholars from Taiwan and abroad. Graduate students (master’s and doctoral levels) from universities nationwide who are interested in the course topics are welcome to enroll during the course registration period.

 

Students with official student status from NCCU as well as from other domestic and international institutions are welcome to enroll in or audit courses offered by the Program. Non-NCCU students may enroll through the inter-university course registration system.

The first-round initial course registration period at NCCU will take place from 9:00 a.m. on January 13 to 5:00 p.m. on January 14. Students who wish to enroll are kindly reminded to observe the registration timeline and follow the University’s course registration procedures.
